CloseMe Terms of Use

You may use CloseMe for personal, non-commercial purposes to stay in touch with friends and family. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation or use it to harm others.

CloseMe is a social and emotional check-in app. It is not a medical, psychological, emergency or professional monitoring service.

If you or someone you know may be in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. Do not rely on CloseMe for urgent help.

You are responsible for how you interpret and respond to information shared by other users.

You must meet the minimum age required in your region to use CloseMe. Where a younger user is permitted, use should occur under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. Please keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use.

You may add content such as notes, photos and audio. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

Be respectful in how you use circles, friends and shared content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

• Do not harass, abuse or harm other users.
• Do not share content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
• Do not interfere with the security or normal operation of the app.

CloseMe, including its design, branding and software, is owned by Derby Wife Studio and protected by applicable laws. You retain rights to the content you create, and grant us the permissions needed to operate the service for you.

CloseMe is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be paused or be discontinued, especially while the product is in development.

To the extent permitted by law, Derby Wife Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of CloseMe. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update CloseMe and these terms over time. When we update these terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
